Distributed Classroom (2 Way Audio and Data)
What is a Distributed Classroom?
Distributed classroom is a web based audio conferencing solution in which participants can share data and audio with each other.

Introduction:
Video Conferencing Setup consists of the following:

Multipoint Control Unit (MCU)

What is MCU
Multipoint Control Unit, a device in videoconferencing that connects two or more audiovisual terminals together into one single videoconference call. The MCU collects information about the capabilities of the systems at each of the videoconference endpoints and sets the conference at the lowest common denominator so that everyone can participate.

From QCIF up to 720p (1280 x 720) including interlaced
iCIF and iSIF • 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios

Up to 30 frames or 60 fields per second

G.711, G.722, G.723.1, G.728, G.729, MPEG-4 AAC-LC,
MPEG-4 AAC-LD

Each participant has their own personal encode

Video Conferencing Endpoints
Each location who wishes to participate in a Video Conference should have a Video Conferencing endpoint which
supports the following features:
Should be ITU H.323 and H.320 compliant
Support for upto 2 Mbps IP calls
Support for minimum 384Kbps ISDN calls
Support for Data Sharing through a PC / Laptop
